  • Ask Tiffany

Her integrity, strength, and faith are a part of everything she does. And Tiffany is bringing these values to the forefront for her run as City Councilwoman for District 46.

A dedicated public servant and activist from Canarsie, Brooklyn, Tiffany has devoted her life to advocating for the community she knows and loves. As a young girl, she attended P.S. 276, Bildersee I.S. 68, and South Shore High School. And as she grew older, she realized the impact education could have on the lives of individuals. With the encouragement of her family and friends, she founded Redemption Inc. at the age of 19 - a non-profit that focuses on increasing the educational attainment of teens in the community by providing coaching, collegiate counseling, and workshops.
But that was only the beginning.

Tiffany knew there was more work to be done and as a Community Specialist at the Kings County District Attorney Office, she helped break down the barriers between the community and law enforcement as the Teen Programs Coordinator, serving as the co-host and Acting Producer for the Brooklyn District Attorney's live weekly radio show "Ask the DA", and as a Community Specialist.

From there, she's kept working hand in hand with the community-as a Parent Coordinator at I.S 68, planning programs for the entire school community, and most recently as the Deputy Director of the Community Partnerships Unit at the New York County District Attorney's Office, overseeing the Community Engagement Unit, the Youth & Education Unit, and the Reentry Unit.
